Media One Products’ Steps to Success

  • Meet with you to determine what makes your products viable for retail shopping networks…including “the story,” features & benefits, value, configuration, on-air demonstrability.

  • Coordinate and Strategize Support and on-air materials.

  • Contact QVC's buying office and broadcasting teams to discuss the strategy.

  • Develop the sales strategy including features and benefits, live demonstrations, on-air props and optimum presentation flow.

  • Develop and deliver product "blueprints" to QVC personnel to follow in preparation for and throughout the on-air presentation.

  • Meet with QVC’s host sales strategist to finalize the blueprint and make sure everyone is in agreement.

  • Create the "Sell Rundown" script for use by the guest, host, line producers, coordinating producers, and control room throughout the sell.

  • Provide product sample and individual training to the host two-three weeks before airings for key products to be sold. Hosts can then say, "I've been using these for… and I love it."

  • Meet with hosts two weeks prior to airings to prepare for upcoming shows.

  • Interview, hire (at the client’s expense) and train on-air product expert/guest.

  • Rehearse the presentation with guest at QVC studio.

  • Create lifestyle video to accompany the product presentation when necessary.

  • Oversee editing of video tape support.

  • Verify the order of the show prior to each airing for accuracy of "special comments,” pricing strategy, length of each sell, and special QVC promotional handles.

  • Verify the product samples to be used on air contain all necessary parts and are in perfect working order.
